Quick answers about earning, redeeming, and using rewards at Trident Fly Fishing.

What happens if I return an order that was purchased using a rewards coupon?

Trident Rewards coupons are single-use discounts (not gift cards). When you use one on an order, the discount is spread across every item in your cart. If you return anything from that order, the coupon isn't reissued and any unused value isn't returned.

How refunds work:

  • For a partial return, we refund the cash you actually paid for the returned item(s), after the coupon's share of the discount.
  • For a full return, we refund the cash you paid on the order, but the rewards coupon is considered used and won't be available again.

Examples

  • Partial return: You place a $100 order and use a $50 rewards coupon, paying $50 cash. You return a $50 item from that order. Because the $50 coupon was applied evenly, half of that item was covered by the coupon. Your refund is $25 cash.
  • Full return: You return the entire $100 order. You get back the $50 cash you paid. The $50 rewards coupon isn't reissued.
Can I use rewards over the phone?
No. Rewards are designed for online self-service checkout on our website. Our team isn't trained for manual reward application; any help provided is best-effort only.
How long does it take for rewards to show up in my account?

It depends. Orders must ship before you earn rewards on your purchases. Other actions can take up to two weeks to be deposited into your account. Please note that not all purchases qualify for rewards. This includes used and sale items.

Please wait at least TWO weeks before contacting us about any missing rewards.

Can I combine rewards with other offers or coupons?
Rewards can't be combined with other discounts, promotions, or multiple rewards coupons on a single order. You can use a reward together with a gift card or store credit.
Can I use rewards on used gear?
No. Rewards can't be applied to used or consignment items. Additional exclusions may apply.
Can I use multiple rewards on a single purchase?
Not at this time. Our checkout supports one rewards coupon per order. We're unable to combine codes by phone or email.
How do I join and how do I earn points?
Create or log in to your account and view full program details here. You'll find how points are earned and any current exclusions.
How can I check my points balance?
  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Visit the Rewards page.
  3. Scroll to "How to use your points" to view balance and options.
Do points or rewards expire?
Yes. Points expire after 6 months of no purchase activity. To keep points active, simply place an order within that window.
Can I transfer points or rewards to another person or account?
No. Points and rewards are non-transferable and must be used by the account holder.
How do I redeem my points?
  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to the Rewards page.
  3. In "How to use your points," choose how many points to redeem and generate your reward code.
  4. Apply the code at checkout.

Tip: Add [email protected] to your safe senders so reward emails don't land in spam.

Is there a tier system?
Not currently.
