Rewards Terms & Conditions

Quick Summary

Self-service only: No phone support. Rewards help by email may take up to 14 days.

Earning isn't universal: Used/sale items and travel don't earn points, and eligibility can change anytime.

Single-use coupons: Redemptions are one-time; no partials or reissues if an order is canceled, returned, or under the coupon value.

House rules: Points expire after 6 months of inactivity, aren't retroactive, and we may change or limit the program at any time.

Program Governance & Discretion

  • We may modify, suspend, or terminate any aspect of Trident Rewards at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice.
  • We may limit, suspend, or end participation; adjust, revoke, or refuse points or redemptions; and set or change earning/redemption rules, caps, exclusions, or eligibility, all in our sole discretion.
  • Our determinations regarding program interpretation, eligibility, balances, and redemptions are final and binding.

Eligibility & Enrollment

  • Open to individuals with a valid email address.
  • You may earn points without an account, but an account is required to redeem.
  • Points are non-transferable and cannot be combined across different email addresses.

Earning Points

  • "$1 spent" means $1 of your grand total after coupons, gift cards, store credit, and other discounts.
  • Used items and sale/discounted items do not earn points.
  • Not all products qualify to earn points. Eligibility may be added, removed, or changed at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice.
  • Automated determination. Earning logic is handled by our rewards software and related systems; their classifications and calculations control eligibility and accrual. No manual overrides.
  • Phone orders do not earn points. Purchases completed by phone or via customer service are ineligible.
  • No retroactive credit for past purchases or sessions when not properly logged in.

Expiration

  • Points expire after 6 months of inactivity (no qualifying purchases for 6 months).
  • Expired points are forfeited and will not be reinstated.

Exclusions (Earning & Redemption)

  • Used items do not accept points/coupons/redemptions.
  • Additional exclusions may apply (e.g., certain products, categories, limited releases, gift cards, store credit, specific promotions).
  • We may limit how often specific rewards can be earned and the time between earning events.
  • We may exclude any item, order, account, or transaction from earning or redemption at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice.

Referrals

  • You can refer friends to Trident and earn rewards when they make a qualifying purchase. To count as a referral, your friend has to actually be your friend — meaning a new customer who isn't you.
  • No self-referrals. You cannot refer yourself. This includes referring a second email address you own, an alias, your spouse's account that ships to your address, a coworker you've agreed to swap referrals with, or any other arrangement where the "new customer" is really just you (or you and a buddy gaming the system).
  • If a referral shares an address, payment method, IP, or other identifying info with the referrer — or just looks fishy — we'll review it. If we decide it's a self-referral or otherwise abusive, we'll void the points or coupon, cancel any pending orders that relied on it, and may remove the account(s) involved from the rewards program entirely.

Redeeming Points

  • Redemption is available only through online self-service checkout when logged in.
  • No phone support and no manual overrides for redemptions.
  • Minimums, maximums, blackout items, and other rules may apply and can change without notice.

Single-Use Reward Coupons

  • One-time use. Rewards convert into single-use coupons that can be applied to one eligible order only.
  • No reissue / no return. If a coupon is used, partially used, the order is canceled or returned, the payment fails, or the order is otherwise not completed, the coupon value is not reissued and will not be returned.
  • No residual value. Any unused portion of a coupon is forfeited and does not carry over to future orders.
  • Non-transferable. Coupons are tied to the account/email that redeemed the points and may not be sold, transferred, or combined with other accounts.
  • Not combinable. Single-use coupons cannot be stacked with other coupons, promo codes, price matches, or sitewide sales unless explicitly stated.
  • Eligibility & exclusions apply. Coupons cannot be applied to excluded items (including used items, travel purchases, and any other exclusions we set) and are subject to all program rules.
  • Your responsibility. You are responsible for keeping coupon codes secure. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, shared, or misused codes.
  • Sole discretion. We may void, decline, or adjust any coupon at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice.

Accounts & Email Preferences

  • Points are tied to your specific email address; balances across multiple emails cannot be merged.
  • If you unsubscribe from or mark our emails as spam, participation may be limited (e.g., you may not receive reward notices).

Support Use & Program Access

  • Self-service program. If reward-related emails become excessive or repeatedly request exceptions, we may suspend or remove program access and forfeit points at our discretion.
  • Email SLA: For rewards-related messages we do answer, response time is up to 14 days.
  • No phone support for any aspect of Trident Rewards.

Order Changes & Returns

Rewards will NOT be returned. Please redeem thoughtfully. If an order is canceled, returned, or refunded, points earned on that order will be reversed.

Point Inquiries & Balance Checks

We do not investigate or adjust point balances via support. To view your points, use the self-service balance tool: https://www.tridentflyfishing.com/pages/rewards. The support team cannot and will not investigate or adjust balances.

Combining Offers

Rewards cannot be combined with other coupons, promo codes, price matches, or sitewide sales unless explicitly stated.

Limits

We may set per-order, daily, or annual limits on points earned or redeemed, including a maximum discount per order.

Gift Cards & Fees

Gift cards, shipping, taxes, duties, and service fees do not earn points and generally cannot be purchased with rewards.

Account Type Exclusions

Wholesale, reseller, corporate, and employee purchases are ineligible to earn or redeem rewards unless expressly approved.

Special Cases

Price-matched items, preorders, and backorders may be excluded from earning or redemption at our discretion.

Verification & Audits

We may require identity or order verification. Suspected fraud, gaming, automated sign-ups, or misuse may result in point reversals and program removal.

Territory & Currency

Program availability and earning rates apply to U.S. retail website orders only, unless otherwise stated.

Service Availability

From time to time, the rewards system may be unavailable. We are not responsible for missed earning or redemption opportunities during outages.

Adjustments, Audits & Removal

  • We may review and adjust point balances to correct errors, reflect exclusions (including travel), or address suspected abuse or fraud.
  • We may adjust, remove, or zero out points, rewards, or program access—and suspend or terminate participation—at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice. Examples include (without limitation) system or pricing errors, returns/cancellations, duplicative or ineligible accounts, suspected misuse or gaming, and excessive support use.
  • Our determinations are final and binding.

Governing Law & Venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to conflicts principles. Venue is in state or federal courts located in Maine.

Privacy

Participation is subject to our Privacy Policy and website Terms of Use. By participating, you consent to our processing of your information as described there.
