Description

When eggs are on the menu, it' rare that any fish in the system turns them down, and with the Zap Roe and Go Eggs, imitating these calorie-dense meals has never been easier. Ultra-easy to use, just add a little Zap Glue and thread an egg on your hook and you’re ready to fish. These eggs are made out of a soft plastic and are available in two sizes (6mm and 8mm) in a range of colors, so whether you’re targetting stocked fish or wild trout munching on sucker eggs during their spawn, there' an option that helps you imitate them all.

Uses

Zap' Roe and Go Eggs are designed to easily create single egg patterns. Simply add some glue to your hook' shank, then thread an egg on, and you’re done! This is by far one of these most user-friendly egg imitations out there, and while it' designed for imitating single eggs, you can also incorporate these into streamer patterns when you’re looking for that “egg sucking” effect, or even thread them directly onto your leader.

Comparisons

Another easy-to-use option for imitating single eggs would be Spirit River' UV2 Fusion Egg Beads. Like the Roe and Go Eggs, these beads are preformed, but instead of gluing them onto the hook shank, you need to heat the shank up and then stick them on. Also, the Spirit River UV2 Fusion Eggs don’t have a soft plastic feel, so if you want something that more closely imitates the “feel” of a real egg, the Roe and Go is a better option. Regardless of your choice, both of these preformed eggs have been a reliable choice when imitating free-floating single eggs.
