Agate Stripping Guide - An agate stripping guide adds to the functionality and artful design of Winston’s Bamboo rods. Agate stripping guides were traditionally used on cane rods of old and Winston has continued the tradition on their contemporary bamboo rods.

Titanium-Plated Snake Guides - Simple snake guides are carefully wrapped onto the bamboo rods. These guides accommodate most fly lines and enhance the rod’s short distance delicacy and accuracy.

Reel Seat

Nickel Silver w/Choice of Insert - The reel seat on the Winston Bamboo rods is as unique as the rod itself. With impeccable attention to detail, Winston finishes these rods with nickel silver componentry and a choice of insert: Lacewood, burled Box Elder, and Zebrawood inserts are available. A single uplocking component adds to the rod’s classic design.

Rod Tube

Powder Coated Aluminum Rod Tube - The Bamboo fly rods from Winston come in an aluminum rod tube with a thick cloth logo rod sock. Aluminum protects the rod during transportation and travel.

Warranty

Winston Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee - As of June 2019, Winston’s original owner guarantee covers every new Winston Boron/Graphite and Graphite fly rod against breakage or manufacturer defects. The rod owner must register the rod via warranty card or online. For all warranty work, the entire rod must be returned to Winston.
