Description
This small midge is an improvement on the Zebra Midge. The difference? Two beads instead of one. Two Tungsten beads help this fly sink quickly in pocket water and deeper rivers where a Zebra Midge doesn't get down quick enough. This fly features durable micro tubing and an internal rib to add color and depth to the fly. It's also finished with UV resin to increase durability and decrease water friction as it sinks. This is an ideal nymph to use as a dropper off of a dry fly when you need to get down quickly (in New Zealand, for example), but it can also be used on a Euro setup or an indicator rig. Available in multiple colors to imitate multiple insects, this is a must-have for the avid trout angler who has a tough time getting deep enough with other midge patterns.
