The Tungsten Bead Czech Caddis is a great imitation for the many caddis larvae found across the globe, but it also serves as a solid attractor pattern, scud or sowbug, and, in the color of cream, an excellent cranefly larva.
Tied in larger sizes like 8-12 and having a heavy build, the Tungsten Bead Czech Caddis Fly is an excellent choice when Euro Nymphing or bouncing the bottom of a fast run. Caddis larvae are prolific in most waterways, and this is a nymph that you can carry in your box all year long, with it being especially effective in early spring through fall whenever caddis are most active.
