Description
The Riversmith Truck Bed Mount puts a ShortCut River Quiver inside a pickup bed, along the bed wall, where it rides under a tonneau cover or topper and out of sight. It is the most discreet way to carry rigged fly rods in a truck, and it is sold on its own for owners who already have a ShortCut. If you need the carrier too, the Truck Bed River Quiver bundles both. Choose 2-Banger or 4-Banger to match your ShortCut.
How It Works
Two powder-coated aluminum brackets hold the ShortCut against the inside of the bed. They fit under most bed covers and above most drawer systems. The kit ships with hardware for both ways of attaching them.
Option 1, cargo rail - If your bed has factory or aftermarket cargo rails with a T-slot, the included T-track hardware bolts the mounts to the rails with no drilling.
Option 2, direct mount - The included self-tapping hardware screws the mounts straight into the bed panel. The mounts must sit flush on the bed wall, so direct mount does not work over a drop-in bed liner. Ford beds with BoxLink take a separate adapter kit from Riversmith.
Fit Notes
- Check that the interior length of your bed fits your ShortCut. A standard ShortCut is 5 feet 8 3/4 inches long, which needs a bed over 68 inches. Riversmith makes a shorter 59.25-inch version for 60 to 68 inch beds, sold as the Truck Bed River Quiver.

Why We Like It
