Description
The Riversmith Gear-Roll is a wader bag that unrolls into a changing station. Waders, boots, a net and a pack each get their own compartment, wet gear stays separate from dry, and the insulated changing mat built into the roll gives you somewhere to stand that is not gravel. Rolled up it is a 16 by 26 inch bundle you carry by the side handle or on backpack straps. Available in Shadow Kelp and Gray Cadmium.
How It Works
Unroll the Gear-Roll on the tailgate, the trunk floor or the ground and everything is laid out in front of you. The mat is where you stand to pull waders on and off, so the neoprene booties never touch grit. Change, roll it back up with the wet waders and boots inside, and the car stays dry. A hanging strap lets you hang the whole thing open to dry at home.
Wet and dry kept apart - Boots and waders go in a breathable compartment that drains and dries. A separate space holds a pack or sling, and there is a sleeve for two rods and a compartment for a net.
Waterproof pocket - A fully waterproof pocket holds a phone, keys, wallet and license away from everything wet.
Removable changing mat - The mat is insulated, so it is not an ice sheet in February, and it comes out to wash.
Two ways to carry - Side carry handle for the walk from the truck, backpack straps for a longer haul.

Why We Like It
Most wader bags are a mesh tote that holds wet waders and nothing else. The Gear-Roll is a system: waders, boots, net, pack, rods and valuables in one piece, with the changing mat that every angler improvises with a floor mat or a piece of cardboard. Guides buy them for clients because it keeps a truck full of gear sorted. For one angler it means every wading day starts from the same packed roll.
"The Gear Roll changed the way I guide. It's more than a wader bag, it's a system for organizing gear. I keep one for myself and a few for clients." - Mike Pogoda, guide
