Description

A reliable shooting line that you can turn to whether you're looking to swing up smallmouth bass or overhead cast into a deep trout pond, Scientific Anglers' Freshwater Floating Shooting Line is a versatile option to complete various line systems. Built on a braided multifilament core with a level taper, this shooting line prevents tangles and is nice and easy to handle, while its minimal-friction design promotes excellent shootability and clean casting. Available in two different diameters (.031 and .038), this line is quick to adapt to any system you're looking to create.

Features

Advanced Shooting Technology - Scientific Anglers made their Freshwater Floating Shooting Line to cast effortlessly and shoot with minimal friction, and the addition of their Advanced Shooting Technology (AST) makes achieving this as easy as can be. AST is a patented dry-slick tech that gives continual line slickness while reducing friction and repelling dirt, grime, and other contaminants commonly found in the water.

Uses

Streamers, Nymphs, and Dry Flies - Since the Freshwater Floating Shooting Line is just your shooting line, your fly choices will ultimately depend on which head you choose. However, this floating shooting line has the capability to deliver just about any fly in your arsenal.

Temp

Cold/Warm -Because this is just a shooting line, it offers a little extra versatility when it comes to your temperature range. While it's not suited for truly hot tropical conditions, the Deep Water Express is equally at home in a cold river system as it is in a warm bass pond.

Taper/Weight

Level Line - The Freshwater Floating Shooting Line has a level taper. Easy to work with and can be adapted to most shooting heads, this level taper is a solid choice that provides quick versatility while on the water.
