Description
The Sage Shift C Fly Reel is the all-water workhorse that takes over where the Spectrum C leaves off, built to sync with everything from small-stream brookies to coastal cutthroat. It brings Sage's SCS drag and a genuinely useful one-revolution drag knob to a die-cast reel priced well under the machined lineup.
Design
Narrow Width, Large Arbor - The Shift C runs a narrow-width large-arbor layout for fast line pickup and a compact profile on the rod. The vented concave arbor adds strength and line capacity while trimming weight.
Finish
Machined Finish, Two Colorways - The die-cast body carries a machined finish and comes in Stealth Black or Grey. A third Silver Pine Gray colorway exists only as the extra spool in the Shift C 3-Pack.
Materials
Die-Cast Aluminum - The Shift C is cut from rugged die-cast aluminum for light, rigid performance at a fraction of the cost of machining.
Drag
Type - Sage's SCS drag package, tuned per size so each model matches the fishing it will actually see.
Adjustment - The one-revolution drag knob spreads 19 detented settings across a single turn, so adjustments are fast, repeatable and consistent mid-fight.
Arbor Size
Large Arbor - Quick pickup when a fish runs at you, less line memory, and easy conversion from left- to right-hand retrieve.
