Great product
"This looks good , holds together well and wraps easily."
Hareline Ultra Chenille is your standard tried and true chenille. Used in tons of fly patterns from fresh to saltwater, it is a staple that you should always have on your tying desk. Hareline Ultra Chenille is uniform and described as velvety, extremely durable, and available in a number of colors and sizes.
Patterns and Tying Techniques - Hareline Ultra Chenille can be used to create bodies for Woolly Buggers and to tie the deadly San Juan Worm. You can use it for crab claws for saltwater patterns and as shrimp bodies. The uses are only limited by your imagination.
Hareline Ultra Chenille vs Hareline Catus Chenille - Ultra Chenille is soft and has a texture and looks more like dubbing. Cactus Chenille is flashier and gives a buggier look. Catus Chenille is small pieces of mylar around a twisted rope core and Ultra Chenille is Antron or similar soft material around a twisted core. Use the Ultra Chenille when you want a more subdued natural-looking fly.
Streamers - Ultra Chenille is perfect for tying Woolly Buggers. It is also the main material in San Juan Worms. It is a great choice for a quick body on Steelhead and Salmon flies like the Comet. It can also be used to tie stoneflies like the Bitch Creek. The Squimp is a great example of a Shrimp fly using Ultra Chenille.
Approximate Dimensions - Hareline Ultra Chenille comes on a 4inx2.5in cardboard card.
Pack Size - Approximately 5 yards per card.

"As the creator of the dirty Harry fly, I strongly recommend this ultra chenille for movement and durability. Make sure you use the standard size for best results."
"I love the quality of Hareline Cheniile, it is easy to use and it holds up where other yarns fall apart."
"I purchased several colors of the narrowest ultra chenille to tie San Juan worms and small woolly buggers. The dense chenille does very well at the tying bench and in the water."
"Quality chenille with lots of great colors available. I use the ultra chenille to tie the Dirty Harry Fly for inshore fishing, the tails dance in the water and redfish and speckled trout will go crazy for it. This product holds up well even after catching several fish on the same fly."
"This is good quality material.I found the quantity of the Chenille on the card to be average with other brands. The color selection is fantastic and it comes in ample sizes for just about any need"
"This was my first purchase of Hareline Chenille. When I started to take it off the card, it was not as full as other brands I have used. It will work but I will not purchase it again."
"Good for wooly buggers. Shipped fast, packaged well"
