Krystal Hackle is a synthetic material attached to one side of a thread core, making it easy to wrap around bodies and collars. Krystal Flash Hackle gives tons of movement in the water and makes your flies swim perfectly, and with its wide range of colors, this material has an option for just about every fly you're looking to tie.

Uses

From propping materials up to tying ultra-flashy bodies, Krystal Flash Hackle has numerous applications at the vise. This material is best palmered to create flashy bodies, but it can also be used to create heads on streamers and even build a prop which you can tie longer, more flowing fibers over top of.

Comparisons

Chocklett's Filler Flash is a good alternative to Krystal Flash Chenille; however, they are not exactly the same. Chocklett's Filler Flash tends to be stiffer and more crinkled, making it a better choice for supporting limp fibers, while Krystal Flash Hackle is less stiff and straighter, making it ideal for adding a flashy material that enhances the flow of your flies.
