Greys Pace Cassette Fly Reel

The Greys Pace Cassette Fly Reel solves the multi-line problem the cheap way round. Stillwater and river anglers who need a floater, an intermediate and a sinker on the same day normally pay for that in machined aluminum spools at real money each. The Pace Cassette ships with three spools included, using lightweight cassettes instead of extra metal, and a push-on push-off design that changes them in seconds. You get genuine multiple-line capability for a fraction of what a spare-spool approach costs.

Design

Quick-Change Cassette System - The push-on push-off cassette design makes spool changes fast and secure, with no tools and no fiddling on a windy bank. Three spools come in the box, so the reel arrives ready for three line setups.

Large Arbour, Narrow Spool - Like the standard Pace, the cassette runs a large-arbour, narrow-spool design that speeds line pickup and reduces line memory.

Finish

Carbon frame finish with clear cassette spools, so you can see at a glance which line is loaded without pulling it off the reel.

Materials

Die-Cast Frame with Bar-Stock Drag Core - The frame is die-cast to keep the cost down while the drag core is machined bar stock, putting the material where the load actually goes. The cassette spools themselves are lightweight, which is exactly why three of them cost less than one machined aluminum spare.

Type - A multi-pad disc drag delivers consistent control, rated to 2lb maximum on both the 5/6 and 7/8 sizes.

Materials - Multi-pad disc stack running on a bar-stock drag core for smooth, repeatable pressure.

Warranty

Greys fly reels are backed by the manufacturer against defects in materials and workmanship. Registered reels are covered for five years from the date of original purchase, and registration must be completed with Greys within 60 days of purchase. Unregistered products are covered by a statutory 12 month warranty.
