As the premier reel in the Galvan series, the Torque represents the culmination of a lifetime of fly-fishing and passion for reel design. Simply stated, it represents the very best of modern fly reel architecture. The Torque was created because Boni wanted to create a revolutionary reel with more sufficient drag system than was presently available on the market and it had to be sexy. Thus the Torque was born.

"The Galvan Torque is my favorite reel. Smooth, refined, understated, and powerful. The T-7 is super versatile (powerful but not too heavy). This size is great for bass, carp, pike, and eastern Steelhead which make spare spools for different lines very practical for this reel and a great value."
"Galvan makes a great reel. I own 5 sizes of the Torque series reels. Having a spare spool makes for a quick change when you decide to switch from a floating line to a sinking line. Spools are replaced without removing the reel from the rod. This is a much cheaper alternative to buying another complete reel. Also, you will like the customer service provided by Galvan."
"Love the quality of my Galvan Torque T5 fly reel. Purchased this spare to easily switch from floating to sinking tip line. The spare is a perfect match. The staff at Trident made this very easy, loading up the backing for me and shipped out the same day!"
"I have several Galvan reels and have had only one problem and Galvan explained they gad received a bad batch of lubricant and the reel was fixed and returned in a very short time. This purchase was for a spare spool which fits perfectly"
