Adopting some of the classic traits of the Pheasant Tail Nymph like a ribbed pheasant tail body and peacock thorax, The Bead Head Flashback Pheasant Tail offers a solid imitation of most mayfly nymphs ranging in size 12 all the way down to 20, and the addition of a flashback wingcase gives a little shimmer but also does a fine job at representing the tiny bubble of air that most emerging nymphs have in their wingcase.
