Description

Designed to handle everything from streamers and terrestrials for Trout and Bass to small Bonefish flies on the flats, the Atlas Signature 9ft 6wt Fly Rod is a highly versatile premium rod. Featuring top-tier REC Single-Foot Guides (upgraded from the V1 to be lighter), an extremely lightweight graphene blank, and durable componentry, you'll get the best rod technology available for an attainable price. We've spent years fishing and reviewing fly rods, and the Atlas series is the result of customer feedback plus our own idea of what the ideal 6wt should be: lightweight, accurate, powerful, and a pleasure to cast!

Blank

Graphene Nano-Resin - At the core of any rod is the blank. It has to be light. It has to be strong. But most importantly, it's got to be accurate. In order to make the BEST fly rod, we had to start with the best materials - and, today, that's graphene. Graphene is 200 times stronger than steel yet lighter than graphite.

But a great blank isn't just great materials. We spent over two years refining the design of one single line weight in order to bring you the most accurate and versatile blank ever.

Swing Weight - 65.3 gm²

Guides

REC Cerecoil Stripping Guides - The best rod starts with the best components. Cerecoil Guides are super lightweight and built with titanium to stand up to the elements.

REC Recoil Single-Foot Guides - Like the stripping guides, at Atlas, only the best will do. We chose recoil guides for their exceptional durability and lightweight.

Reel Seat

Custom asymmetrical anodized aluminum double up-locking reel seat - To secure your reel, we chose an industry-standard double uplocking reel seat, then made it better. We oversized the rings and made the reel seat asymmetrical so you're never fumbling around to attach your reel.

Rod Tube

Powder-coated aluminum rod tube - We wanted to make sure your investment is protected, and the aluminum rod tube does just that. It also comes with a matching rod bag.

Atlas 9ft 6wt

"I bought the 9ft 6wt last year for an all-around rod. I bought Scientific Anglers Infinity line for it and was not happy with the way it mended and casted. So, I put Scientific Anglers Anadro on being a 1. 5 size bigger the rod woke up now it is a powerhouse it mends line beautifully. The fit and finish of the rod is beautiful. There are no complaints now!"

One of the best !

"This fly rod is super! Feels as good as my 5 wt. G-rod international which is the first Graphene rods to market. Well done!"

Glenn M. (5/5)

Loved the Atlas 6wt.

"I bought this rod for a trip to Alaska it did not disappoint it was able to throw heavy streamers, mouse patterns as well as dry flies. Was able to land some big chum salmon and some big rainbows without any trouble. Great rod for the price!"

Great Rod for Bonefish on calm days

"Bought this rod specifically to wade for bonefish in low wind days. Took to the Caribbean for 9 days and ended up fishing it 7 of those days. Paired with a Nautilus X max and one of the new SA clear tip lines for spooky fish and a Rio quick shooter for windier days or heavier crab flies. Rod is fantastic and does a great job with spooky bones."

Atlas rods are a great purchase.

"Just fished it twice and love it! Light salt. Small bonito, calico bass and one mullet, which was a surprise. Casts a 6wt. Intermediate well. Highly recommend all the Atlas rods."
