"Different hook, but I saw some cool extended hollow flys tied on these hooks. The only complaint is that I wish the hooks were stronger. For such a large hook tge wire is relatively thin. It flexes all over when in the vise"

"Truly a unique hook. Takes a little getting used to when designing patterns. My advice is to only tie material on the short section near the hook eye. Trying to use the rest of the hook shank will cause the fly to roll or not swim right in stream currents. If you want a bulky fly, then you will need to add weight to the belly to keep it riding keel style or go a hook size up. With the hook point much higher than the eye they hook more fish."
