UNI Nylon Thread

Super strong and easy to work with, UNI Nylon Thread is a great choice whether you’re cranking down on a streamer or spinning up a deer hair bass bug. Made in both 70 denier (has a breaking strength of 15oz) and 210 denier (has a breaking strength of 53 oz), this thread has an option for just about any size fly you’re tying. Coming in a 100 yard spool, UNI Nylon Thread is a great addition to your desk that you can tie many flies with. 

Uses

While UNI Nylon Thread is an excellent tying thread, it really excels whenever you need to crank down and apply pressure. This makes it a great choice for things like spinning deer and wool or tying any fly that you want to be extremely durable. Also, due to its multifilament construction, you can split this thread to easily make a dubbing loop. 

Comparisons 

UNI Nylon is a nylon thread, and if you’re looking for another thread that’s really strong, Veevus’ GSP would be a great choice. Both of these threads are nice and tough, but Veevus’s GSP has a few more size options than the UNI Nylon.
