Uses

Core's C1167 Parachute Dry Black Hooks are an excellent choice for tying parachutes and Klinkhammer dry flies. However, they also are a good choice for tying emergers and scuds/sowbugs as well as larvae that may require a dramatic curve to match their profile.

Daiichi has made a similar hook with their 1160 Klinkhammer Hooks. These hooks offer a similar bend and profile to the Core C1167 Hooks, but they do size down to a 20, which makes them a better option for tying really small flies and midges. Aside from that, these two hooks are pretty comparable.
