Conduit Core Technology - The IMX Pro series utilizes Loomis’ recent innovation in fly rod design. Conduit Core Technology allows Loomis to improve rod efficiency and decrease rod weight by replacing graphite wraps with proprietary material in the bottom half of the rod. The result: strength and durability in the butt section as well as increased energy throughout the rod blank. Conduit Core Technology increases rod balance, reduces angler fatigue, and allows anglers to maximize time and opportunity on the river.

Chrome Stripping Guide - The IMX Pro features a durable and classic chrome stripping guide. The stripping guide is quiet yet functional - elements we’ve come to expect and appreciate on mid-priced rods.

Chrome Single-Foot Snake Guides - Similarly, the rod has single-foot chrome snake guides to help line shoot farther with ease. Again, you’re not going to see the very best componentry on the IMX Pro. However, as a mid-priced series, the IMX Pro is designed for purpose, not art.

 

Reel Seat

Double Uplocking w/ Wood Insert - Smaller rod models (4wt - 6wt) in the IMX Pro series come with a micro full wells grip, double uplocking component, and a stylish dark wooden spacer.

Double Uplocking w/ Anodized Aluminum - Larger rod models feature a standard full wells grip and an anodized aluminum reel seat. The reel seat on all rod models is practical and efficient.

 

Rod Tube

Cordura Rod Tube - The IMX Pro comes with a durable Cordura rod tube that will protect your investment and keep the rod safe when it’s not being used. Cordura is a great mid-priced alternative to an aluminum rod tube.

 

Warranty

Loomis Limited Lifetime Warranty - The G. Loomis IMX Pro, like all Loomis fly rods, is covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty, which covers the rod for the life of the original owner. For breakage determined to have occurred due to non-conformance, G. Loomis will at the companies’ discretion, either repair or replace the product at no charge.
