The Perdigon is a well-known Euro nymphing fly. Its slim profile and incredibly fast sink rates make it a superb fly to use in a variety of deepwater trout fishing scenarios. These flies aren't tied to specifically imitate any individual insect; instead, they're a great small mayfly attractor pattern when you can't figure out what fish are feeding on. This particular version is tied by Devin Olsen and features a Krystal Flash body that enhances the attention-grabbing characteristics of the fly. Ideal for tough rivers from the US west to New Zealand and beyond, this tiny attractor nymph truly fools fish above its weight class.
