Stonefly flies imitate the biggest bugs in the river, from early-season skwalas and giant salmonflies to golden stones and little yellow sallies. Nymphs produce year-round in fast, rocky water, while big dry patterns bring explosive eats during summer hatches. Stock heavy nymphs for deep runs and foam dries for the banks, and be ready when fish look for a big meal.
