"The Regulator Spool makes it easy to rewind lines for storage and change outs. It is compact and will be easy to take on a trip for required line changes. I also like that I can use it with my portable hand drill, by using a short length of threaded rod to uniformly wind lines for storage and that the Regulator allows for changing the inside diameter of the wound line to fit on the original spools."

"I was somewhat upset when SA started supplying lines on the cardboard spools as I used the plastic spools to store spare lines. I saw the SA Regulator Spool on the Trident ???? web site and ordered. What a neat tool! I found a more efficient way to store spare lines and replace the need for costly spare reel spools. When the line is removed from the reel I store the line in a zip lock bag and mark the bag with the line specifics. The tool can then be used to replace line back on the reel. Line storage is much more convenient in the zip lock bags and easier to store. I highly recommend this product."
