The Echo Trip Series is a purpose-driven rod made for explorers and backcountry anglers. With an 8-piece design, the Trip rod is easy to carry, travels seamlessly, and works well as a travel rod. Tim Rajeff has included improved ferrule technology and a lightweight blank design to minimize rod weight. The 8-piece Trip is lighter than it looks and perfect for the traveling angler.
Slim Profile Graphite Design - The blank of the Echo Trip Series has an 8-piece rod design and sports a crisp medium-fast action and moderate power levels. Echo uses modern resin systems to create a rod blank that is lightweight and durable. Improved ferrule technology and design make this 8-piece fly rod feel like a 4-piece rod on the water. Tim Rajeff also included a powerful butt section for long distance casting and fish-fighting capabilities.
Low Friction Ceramic Stripping Guides - The Echo Trip is equipped with corrosion-resistant ceramic stripping guides that hold up to weather and wear. These guides are low friction to help fly line shoot effortlessly through the rod.
Stainless Snake Guides - The snake guides on the Echo Trip are lightweight and practical. Snake guides are low profile and minimalist to decrease overall rod weight without sacrificing functionality.
Black Anodized Aluminum w/Uplocking Component - The reel seat on the Echo Trip has a black anodized aluminum insert with an uplocking component to anchor reels in place. The smaller rod models have a reversed half-wells grip and the larger 8wt model has a full wells grip with a fighting butt.
Fabric-Covered Rod Case - The Echo Trip comes in a black fabric-covered rod tube with an Echo insignia and the rod model printed on the side for easy identification. Fabric-covered rod tubes protect rods during time off the water and are a solid mid-priced alternative to an aluminum rod tube. The Trip travels well in this short tube.
Echo Fly Rod Lifetime Warranty - Echo will repair or replace any defective or damaged rods for the entire lifetime of the original owner. All rods must be sent to Echo for repairs/service. As of 4/17/2019, Echo charges a $35 fee for fly rod repairs/replacements.
