Description

Whether you're exploring that small warmwater creek hunting for rockbass, smalljaws, and panfish or hitting a large system full of wild browns, Scientific Anglers delivers everything that you need for success in their Aircel Fly Line. Coming in at a very cost-effective price, the Aircel Line is a general-purpose tool for most freshwater game. Built in line weights 4 through 9, the Aircel family is quite versatile and has an option for anything from panfish to steelhead. From casting large Deceivers at pike to dunking tiny nymphs at trout, the Aircel lets you do it all without costing a fortune.

Uses

Dry Flies, Nymphs, and Streamers - Despite its affordable cost, the Aircel series of lines allows you to fish most flies in your box. With a weight-forward taper, this line presents dry flies with ease, and it also does an equally good job at casting chunky streamers as it does clunky nymph rigs. A do-it-all line that doesn't break the bank, the Aircel series provides excellent fly versatility.

Temp

Cold/Moderate - Designed to handle cold to moderate water temperatures, the Aircel Lines work well in all trout waters and can handle warm situations like bass and pike lakes just as well. However, if you were to try and fish this line in a tropical setting, you'd notice it getting soft and turning limp.

Taper/Weight

More Mass Towards the Front of the Head - Built with a versatile taper, SA's Aircel series sports a weight-forward taper that focuses the mass towards the front of the head. The taper of the Aircel Fly Lines will load most rod actions effectively without bumping into a steeper price point. This taper provides excellent versatility over a variety of water situations while also allowing you to throw most flies in your arsenal, and its raised bump in the handling section quickly reveals the ideal place to begin your cast, helping both novice and seasoned anglers alike.
