Dual Welded Loops - Whether you're dealing with your backing-to-fly line connection or fly line-to-leader connection, there's no doubt that welded loops greatly simplify things. Uses

Streamers and Crustaceans - With its aggressive taper and overlined construction, this line does a fabulous job at presenting large and heavy streamers. From flies like Bucktail Game Changers to large Hollows and even Clousers, this line makes it easy to cast them all. Should the bass get picky and you need to feed them a worm fly or a crayfish, this line will cast them just as easily.

Temp

Warm/Tropical - With bass being a species best to fish in warm water, Cortland makes this line with a rating that starts at 50 degrees and goes all the way beyond 70. This lets you fish anything from warm rivers and lakes to the tropical waters of southern Florida where peacock bass, snakehead, and various cichlids call home.

Taper/Weight

More Mass Towards the Front of the Head - Cortland's Specialty Bass Fly Line is overweighted by one full line weight and features an aggressive taper with the mass being concentrated towards the front of the head.
