Skate it, twitch it, dead drift it, and watch fish eat it with reckless abandon. The body of the Thunder Thighs is 100% foam, as any hopper should be. The fly also features rubber legs, a synthetic wing, and a long shank hook. As you've probably guessed, this is a trout fly designed for fishing in rivers, streams, lakes, and freshwater environments. This isn't a saltwater fly and should be used only when targeting trout that are feeding on the surface or fish that are likely to rise for a large meal.
