Uses
Fishair is an excellent material for tying streamers. This synthetic material works well when tying in tails and wings, and it can also be used to tie synthetic variations of popular patterns like the Clouser Minnow.
Comparisons
Another similar material is Steve Farrar's Flash Blend. SF Blend is also a synthetic material that can be used very similarly to Fishair, but SF Blend tends to be a bit more crinkled, and it also has flash blended throughout the fibers. Both of these are great choices, and which one you choose depends on what appearance you're looking for in your flies.
