Building a layering system that works for you allows you to stay warm, dry, and comfortable on the water. Most people think about warmth when layering but layering can help in warm weather, too, but wicking moisture and keeping you cool and dry. If you’re fishing in a colder freshwater environment, chances are you’re wearing waders. Layering under waders is extremely important.
