Description
The Simms G3 Pro Stockingfoot Waders are a workhorse wader for guides and anglers who fish hard all season. Simms rebuilt the G3 around an all-new GORE-TEX fabric package with industry-leading resistance to pinhole punctures. A 4-layer GORE-TEX Pro lower takes the abuse, and a breathable 3-layer upper keeps you dry without the clammy feel. Neoprene stockingfeet go inside your wading boots.
Features
Fabric - The lower leg and seat use 4-layer GORE-TEX Pro, the areas that take the most wear from rock, brush and kneeling. The upper uses a waterproof, breathable 3-layer GORE-TEX fabric. This layup puts the heaviest fabric where punctures happen and keeps the chest lighter. Simms built the new package to resist pinhole punctures, the usual cause of slow leaks in a hard-used wader.
Suspension / Fit System - An upgraded suspender package improves breathability and fit. Opposing buckles convert the waders to waist-high. A built-in low-profile back belt loop holds the included neoprene wading belt in place.
Pocket Configuration - Two top-access stretch chest pockets fit most thin fly boxes and have docking stations. Zippered pass-through handwarmer pockets have upgraded micro-fleece that warms wet hands and dries quickly.
Storage/Pockets
The two stretch chest pockets sit high on the chest, so you can reach them over a wading belt. The zippered handwarmer pockets pass through the front of the wader. Integrated gravel guards resist abrasion and keep debris out of your boots. Simms places the leg seams on the front and back of each leg.
Suspension System
The upgraded suspender package improves breathability and fit, and opposing buckles let you convert to waist-high on warm days. A self-gathering back yoke gives you more mobility and more room to layer for warmth. The stockingfeet use Simms' longest-lasting, compression-resistant neoprene with an anti-microbial treatment.
