SlickCast and ConnectCore- For top-tier line slickness and castability, Rio works their SlickCast coating into this series of lines. SlickCast is Rio’s proprietary technology that massively increases your line slickness and durability while massively decreasing your line’s friction.
With their ConnectCore technology, Rio is able to reduce line stretch by roughly 30% while also increasing your line’s coating smoothness, durability, general performance, and sensitivity. ConnectCore is an excellent feature whenever you’re coming tight to a fish and need to deeply set the hook. This tech even reduces memory, making hand-stretching your line in between sessions nice and easy without hassle.
Uses

"Rio Gold Max Elite Fly Line is great for fast action rods. I have it on two different spools. One spool is for my 6wt Rod set up for streamer fishing and the second spool is set up on my 4wt for indicator fishing. The line works great for turning over the heavy stuff. Just for clarify the 6wt is a Sage Power R8 and the 4wt is a Sage Igniter. I hope this helps happy fishing!"
