The Stonfo Feather Block secures the stem of the CDC feather before you grip it with a clamp or clip.
To make it easier to fold the feathers, the block has grooves of varying lengths. Simply place the feather's quill within the appropriate length groove. Three antiskid rubber feet are included. To work more readily on the feathers, we recommend using the CDC Feathers Block in conjunction with the Hair Clips Stonfo.

"Have seen others make their own but sometimes the ease of use, durability etc its just not worth your time that you could be fishing or tying flies. The way I look at it my times worth something, the lines are easier to see in this on and it doesn't look like more trash on the bench."
