"I have been frustrated by all previous gloves in that they do not provide adequate coverage for the first knuckles to protect form line burn generated by a large running tarpon. They would start out barely adequate and then shrink, exposing the knuckle. This glove provides protection to the end of the first two fingers. If you need to get the finger free to tie a blood knot there is a cut out in the middle to instantly facilitate that. The perfect glove for me."
