"This is a wonderful combo. I own high end Orvis rods and reels that cost twice the price and yes they are nicer, but for the money I would rather have 2 of these rod combos for what 1 of those cost. The combo is setup great. The rod is solid. Basic reel seat and really nice quality rod. It seems like it will survive more then a lot of them I have seen. The reel is smooth and has a nice drag system. The combo includes a nice spool of Rio backing, Rio Gold Fly Line and Rio Leader. Lets be honest. . . no fly rod works very will if your fly is not tied onto good quality leader and fly line and they have good stuff in this combo. When I ordered this, I was wondering what I was doing since most of my equipment is higher end quality but I thought. . . under $700. . . lets give it a try. Glad I did!"
