"I am 54 years old and have fly fished my whole life, I have only been straight line nymphing for about 7 years so I am by no means an expert, that being said I bought the 10 1/2 three weight through the recommendation of a friend, I have fished the rod a handful of times and really can’t say it justifies the price tag, I have fished a syndicate pipeline 10 foot three weight and although the sage is much lighter I don’t see a big difference in the action, the Sage is a nice rod I just don’t know if it’s worth the price, and like I said, I am no expert on the subject, somebody with more experience can probably appreciate the Rod more"
