Combining exceptional performance with all of the versatility that you need, the Aydon Travel is a series of rods designed with equal parts power, precision, and fast recovery. The Aydon Travel pairs a lightweight feel with top-notch componentry like its Sintrix carbon fibre blank and custom-designed reel seat, giving the angler a reliable rod that can be cast all day long. Designed in line weights 4, 5, and 6, the Aydon Travel provides an option for lighter applications like spring creek trout fishing and high-altitude brooks as well as a 6 weight option for larger rivers and heavier streamer applications.

Sintrix - The Aydon Travel series begins with Hardy’s Sintrix blank and a medium-fast action that gives the angler smooth casting, quick recovery, and just the right line speed. Hardy’s Sintrix technology combines a high modulus carbon fibre with a rapid taper to give you an ultra-fast rod that can throw a tight loop into the wind, yet still maintain solid feel when casting up close. And with the Sintrix tech, you also get outstanding durability as a result of microscopic silica spheres that encompass each carbon fibre filament.

To complement those forested streams and long trails, Hardy’s Aydon blank sports a clean olive green color.

As of October 2022, Hardy’s Aydon Travel Fly Rods are covered by their Worldwide Extended Warranty. This warranty is pretty straightforward, and for $75, it covers the repair or replacement of your rod.
