A variation of one of Kelly's most famous streamers, Galloups Barely Legal Fly (Fish-Skull Head) maintains a focus on movement and has a construction similar to the original Barely Legal, but it adds a splash of realism that the original doesn't have. Designed by Kelly Galloup, the Barely Legal is a series of flies that are packed with motion, feature an articulated design, have more marabou than most fly shops stock on their walls, and just seem to catch large fish almost anywhere they go. The Galloups Barely Legal Fly (Fish-Skull Head) has a design that's almost identical to the original, but it has the added benefit of a Fish-Skull Head. With this head, the streamer dips and dives while also giving a realistic look to this baitfish fly. Not only does its construction mimic the life of a baitfish, but this fly comes in a range of colors so you can really dial in matching the hatch of your local waters.
