Previously, the Liquid lacked a full frame design, which was a concern for those who prefer two-hand casting and Euro nymphing. Lamson has addressed this with the all-new Liquid S HD Fly Reel. It retains the pressure-cast design, sealed conical drag, and large arbor of the original Liquid but now features a full frame design. This allows anglers to fish ultra-thin running and mono lines without worrying about lines slipping between the frame and the spool. Available in Smoke color across three sizes, it accommodates rods ranging from a 4-weight to a 10-weight, making it suitable for light Trout Spey and Euro applications or more demanding tasks like swinging flies over freshly-run salmon.

Design

Large Arbor, Full Frame - The Liquid S HD Reel maintains the affordability of the Liquid series while accommodating thin running and mono lines without line slip. The full frame design prevents even the thinnest lines from slipping through, simplifying things for Euro nymphers and two-hand anglers. The large arbor stores all the backing needed, whether swinging fresh steel or using a Trout Spey Rod to cast streamers at post-spawn smallmouth bass.
