A crustacean fly that takes inspiration from Ben’s time on the flats and fellow Maine angler Joe Webster’s Tactical Shrimp Pattern, Whalley’s Champagne Shrimp brings realism whether you’re casting to striped bass or bonefish. Combining a foam carapace with keeled beads–reminiscent of the Avalon Permit Fly–and a jig hook, this fly rides with its hook point up and adds a “clicking” noise that’s sure to attract fish.

The Champagne Shrimp is tied in both tan and green, allowing you to imitate grass and sand shrimp with ease, while its realistic profile is sure to help you find success no matter how high the sun or how clear the water.
