Based on one of the most popular nymphs around--the Prince Nymph--the Tungsten Bead Flash Prince Fly has a look similar to the original but with a few added benefits. Starting with the classic split biot tail, gold ribbed peacock body, and brown hackle legs, this fly resembles the Prince Nymph, but where it differs is in its heavy tungsten bead head and its flashy wings. These two additions come together to let you fish nice and deep while adding just enough glimmer to catch the attention of any fish around. And while the Tungsten Bead Flash Prince Fly doesn’t exactly resemble any specific insect, you can fish it as a stonefly imitation or just a general searching pattern. 

The Tungsten Bead Flash Prince Fly is a fly that you can use any day of the year and it makes a great addition to a multi-nymph rig. Fish it on a dead drift through riffles and runs or add an indicator and hit the deeper pools--regardless of your preferred tactic, you can count on this spin-off of the original to get you into fish.
