The Axiom II-X is designed for the angler who prioritizes accuracy at longer distances. A hugely powerful rod, the Axiom II-X is built with new technology that allows intermediate and advanced anglers to present big flies accurately at any distance. Unlike other fast action rods, however, the Axiom II-X is smooth with maximum energy transfer capabilities and plenty of feedback and feel. Endorsed by Flip Pallot and Blane Chocklett, this rod is one of TFO’s greatest new creations for the serious angler.
Axiom Technology - TFO’s exclusive Axiom technology contributes to a rod blank that’s insanely strong. A double-helix of Kevlar is embedded in the blank and high tensile strength acts to protect the rod’s carbon fiber design under heavy weight. What does all this mean? Basically, the blank design of the Axiom II-X means the rod can’t be overloaded and has a ton of strength and extreme power. If you’re looking for a big-fish-fighting, long-distance-casting, power-loaded rod blank, this is it.
REC Recoil Stripping Guides - The Axiom II-X comes with REC Recoil Stripping Guides for increased durability and solid corrosion resistance. These guides rebound when bent or crushed and keep the rod lightweight and functional.
Ultra-Lightweight Chromium-Impregnated Stainless-Steel Snake Guides - Stainless-Steel stripping guides are saltwater resistant and highly functional without being clunky or oversized.
Grey Anodized Aluminum w/Double Uplocking Component - The Axiom II-X rods have a full grey anodized aluminum reel seat. This minimizes saltwater corrosion and weathering. These reel seats are expertly designed to lock down large saltwater reels.
Cordura Rod Tube - The TFO Axiom II-X comes in a Cordura rod tube to protect the rod during travel and transportation. Most TFO rods don’t come with rod tubes, however, TFO has included a rod tube in some of their latest rod models.
TFO Warranty - As of July 2019, TFO rods purchased from an authorized dealer have a no-fault lifetime warranty for the life of the registered owner. TFO will always repair or replace (at no cost to the customer) any rod with faulty workmanship or manufacturer defects. If your rod breaks or is damaged from normal wear and tear, TFO charges $35 for repairs, processing, shipping, etc.
