TFO’s Axiom II series is built for a wide range of angling styles and situations. TFO put a lot of research, development, and engineering into these rods to create a powerful, responsive, smooth series that caters to anglers with a variety of casting strokes. Light in hand and built with functional componentry, these rods are high performing without breaking the bank. TFO has truly engineered a rod to fit every angler.
A2 Blank Design - TFO’s A2 blank design is exceptionally efficient and dynamic. With superb energy transfer and rod loading capabilities. Each rod model is optimized for high performance and castability. The design of the blank of the Axiom II makes it a rod series that caters to a broad range of casting strokes and angler ability. A2 also means the Axiom II rods track beautifully, have minimum tip bounce, and limited vibration.
Two Large SiC Stripping Guides - Two large SiC stripping guides accommodate any fly line on heavier rod models. Lighter models have one SiC stripper for decreased fly line friction and increased accuracy.
Hard Chrome Snake Guides - Hard chrome snake guides add to the durable rod design of the Axiom II series. These guides are industry-accepted and time-proven.
Green Graphite Spacer w/Grey Anodized Double Uplocking Component - The smaller rod models have a green graphite reel seat with grey anodized aluminum componentry. The graphite spacer keeps the reel seat lightweight and functional.
Grey Anodized Aluminum w/Double Uplocking Component - On the heavier Axiom II rods the reel seat is full grey anodized aluminum. This minimizes saltwater corrosion and weathering. These reel seats are expertly designed to lock down large saltwater reels.
Cordura Rod Tube - The TFO Axiom II comes in a cordura rod tube to protect the rod during travel and transportation. Most TFO rods don’t come with rod tubes, however, TFO has included a rod tube in some of their latest rod models.
TFO Warranty - As of July 2019, TFO rods purchased from an authorized dealer have a no-fault lifetime warranty for the life of the registered owner. TFO will always repair or replace (at no cost to the customer) any rod with faulty workmanship or manufacturer defects. If your rod breaks or is damaged from normal wear and tear, TFO charges $35 for repairs, processing, shipping, etc.
