Spirit River’s Mottled Nymph Blend Dubbing is pretty similar to Whitlock’s SLF Dubbing in that it provides a buggy look in nice natural shades that are perfect for tying nymphs and wet flies. However, SLF tends to have a little more translucency and offers a look that’s slightly less matted, but in the end, both are great options for whipping up effective subsurface patterns.
