Scott S4s Fly Rod - DISCONTINUED Reviews

Finest rod I've ever owned. Review by Sergio
    Posted on 5/6/15
I am relatively new to fly fishing, and I wanted one rod that would work well on anything from warmwater rivers to flats and inshore. After weighing the pros and cons of this rod over the Tidal, I decided I would rather pay the premium for this rod rather than get an entry-to-intermediate saltwater rod and want to upgrade in a few years. Even as a beginner the advantage is evident. The hardware is robust, the craftsmanship is top notch, and the performance is all I could have hoped for. I haven't taken this out onto big water yet, but I am able to hit turtles on the head from 60 feet on my local lake. With proper care and Scott's lifetime warranty, I know I won't be needing another 8wt rod for a long time.

There are no local dealers in my area so I bought this rod sight unseen. Thanks to the awesome support staff at Trident for answering my questions and helping me make my decision.
