Uplocking w/Black Anodized Aluminum - The Sage X Switch has a reel seat that is corrosion-resistant and weatherproof. Stealth black anodized aluminum protects against wear and an uplocking component locks large two-handed reels in place. The handle of the X Switch is made with top-notch, Super Plus grade cork that’s smooth in hand and perseveres over the course of many seasons on the water. 

Rod Tube

Powder Coated Aluminum Rod Tube - The X Switch comes in a classic evergreen powder coated aluminum rod tube with an easily identifiable Sage medallion. The aluminum rod tube keeps the X safe during travel and time off the water. 

Warranty

The Sage Lifetime Warranty - Every new Sage rod, blank and Sage reel is covered by a lifetime, original owner warranty. One of the finest warranties in the business, it covers defects in materials or workmanship as well as rods that fail due to misuse, negligence, or normal wear-and-tear. Sage charges a $75 processing fee for the warranty.
