Wrangling carp on a slow-flowing river. Wrangling smallmouth bass in a deep pond. Wrangling steelhead on a Great Lakes tributary. Wrangling trout of a swift freestone. Wrangling a bonefish off of a flat in the Bahamas. When you’re dealing with Reddington's all-new Wrangler series of rods, it really doesn’t matter what fish you’re chasing, as this line of rods includes a perfect option for it all. An all-encompassing series of rods, the Wrangler starts with a 9’ 4-weight to handle things like trout and warm water fish such as perch and small bass; from there, the Wrangler bumps up in line weights all the way to a specific 8-weight that’s at home in the salt or on a tributary packed with steelhead. And for those unique conditions or waterways, the Wrangler even includes a 10’ 7-weight for reliable mending over larger water or handling heavy indicator rigs. Redington builds their Wrangler series with a medium-fast action so that beginners can hone their cast while those more experienced can deliver flies exactly where they need to with ease. Coming in at an affordable price point, the Wrangler is the perfect choice whether you’re filling a hole in your quiver or just dipping your toes in the pursuit of a new-to-you species.
Blank
Graphite - Redington crafts their Wrangler series of rods out of a high-quality graphite with a medium-fast action. Since this series of rods has a variety of different line weights and builds, Redington designs the blank around flexibility over a range of species and water conditions with power and sensitivity where it’s needed. Whether you’re wrangling a tough salty species or a small trout, this blank has what you need for it all.
The Wrangler Rods are made with a glossy grey blank and charcoal thread trim wraps, giving you a subtle color that looks at home whether you’re in fresh or saltwater.
Reel Seat
Anodized Aluminum Reel Seat - A solid choice for the Wrangler Rods, Redington equips them with an Anodized Aluminum Reel Seat. Lightweight, durable, and corrosion-resistant, this reel seat can stand up to whatever the day throws its way, and with an uplocking design, your reel stays locked in all day long.
Rod Tube
Nylon Rod Tube w/ Built-In Dividers - On a plane, in the storage closet, or in your truck’s bed, no matter where your Wrangler is resting, it’s sure to be safe in this included rod tube. A nylon covering adds solid protection, while built-in dividers make storing nice and easy.
Warranty
As of June 2023, Redington’s Wrangler Rods are covered by their original owner lifetime warranty. Redington’s original owner warranty is limited to the replacement of the rod only and it does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, or any additional type of damage caused by using the rod. This warranty also does not cover neglect, misuse, theft, fire, loss, normal wear and tear, or loss. Redington also reserves the right to replace discontinued models with newer models if necessary.
