Blank

Graphite - Redington makes their Strike II out of a high-quality graphite with a medium-fast action. Built for ease of fishing with maximized sensitivity, this blank makes it easy to feel every strike that comes your way. While not a part of the blank specifically, it’s worth mentioning that a down-locking reel seat and reshaped cork combine to provide all of the balance you need in this rod. 

The Strike II comes in an unpainted color for a subdued look that offers a great in-hand appearance, yet also works to prevent sun reflection and spook fish when drifting ultraclear waters. 

Guides

Stripper Guides -Equipped with a stripping guide that’s thoughtfully designed, Redington added this onto the Strike II in order to prevent line slap. A solid feature for added convenience, think of it as another way that this rod makes your life easier while on the water. 

Single-Foot Snake Guides - Designed to reduce weight without reducing performance, Redington utilizes single-foot snake guides on their Strike II rods. While these snake guides are pretty straightforward in their function, they do have one unique construction choice in that two tip-positioned snake guides work to prevent thin tippets from wrapping while casting or working your drift. A simple solution to a problem that’s plagued Euro nymphing for quite a while.

Warranty
As of January 2023, Redington’s Strike II Rods are covered by their original owner warranty. Redington’s original owner warranty is limited to the replacement of the rod only and it does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, or any additional type of damage caused by using the rod. This warranty also does not cover neglect, misuse, theft, fire, loss, normal wear and tear, or loss. Redington also reserves the right to replace discontinued models with newer models if necessary.
