Redington Strike Euro Nymph Fly Rod

Medium-Fast Action Blank - The medium-fast action blank of the STRIKE is built for tight-line and Euro-style nymphing techniques. The blank is finished with an extra-sensitive tip section for heightened tip sensitivity and presentational delicacy. Redington also decided to give the STRIKE an unpainted blank for a stealthy appearance and reduced rod weight. This helps cut down rod flash and minimize fatigue during long days on the water.

Titanium Oxide Stripping Guides - Titanium oxide stripping guides allow running line to move through the guides of the STRIKE effortlessly. These guides are small to accommodate freshwater-specific euro nymphing fly lines and durable to stand up to weathering and wear.

Lightweight Single-Foot Snake Guides - Snake guides decrease the overall rod weight of the STRIKE to keep the rod as lightweight as possible without sacrificing performance. Single-foot guides increase rod tracking, line sensitivity, and decrease rod weight. Snake guides are popular in the industry because of their functionality and durability.

Reel Seat

Skeletonized Aluminum w/Downlocking Component - The STRIKE’s skeletonized reel seat works to minimize rod weight so that you can be comfortable during long days on the water. The downlocking componentry helps balance the rod and an elongated handle allows the angler to find the perfect balance point regardless of reel choice. Redington has purposefully built this rod for maximum performance and minimum weight.

Rod Tube

Cordura Rod Tube - The STRIKE comes in a fully protected Cordura rod tube with dividers for easy storage. Cordura is a phenomenal mid-priced alternative to aluminum and protects the rod during travel and transportation.

Warranty

The Redington Lifetime Warranty - As of June 2020, every new Redington rod purchased through an authorized dealer, excluding the Crosswater Series and Minnow and Topo Combos, is covered by a lifetime original owner warranty. The warranty is limited to replacement of the rod only and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product.
