As Orvis’ flagship rod series, the Helios 3 is loaded with the finest componentry and technology. The H3F comes in rod models that cater to intense dry fly anglers and flats aficionados alike. Helios 3 Technology - The all-new blank of the Helios 3F is designed to be accurate from anywhere. The 3F is made with vibration dampening technology and extreme rod durability. ‘F’ stands for feel and the blank of the 3F is incredibly responsive and sensitive. Orvis has built a strategically reinforced rod blank to maximize strength without increased overall weight. Helios 3 tech creates a blank that tracks beautifully, takes a truer path to the target, and can land a fly accurately from anywhere.

SiC/Titanium Stripping Guides - Titanium stripping guides bring modern durability to the 3F. SiC guides accommodate a variety of fly lines and stand up to harsh weather and harsh environments.
REC Recoil Snake Guides - Recoil snake guides help keep the 3F lightweight and rebound when bent or crushed. Snake guides are also functional and their design is widely-used in contemporary fly fishing.
Reel Seat
Type III Anodized Aluminum w/Carbon Insert - The reel seat on the 3F combines durability and craftsmanship. Midnight black type III anodized aluminum ensures maximum strength and a matte storm carbon insert keeps the rod sleek and stylish. A double uplocking component anchors any reel in place during long days on the water.
Rod Tube
Aluminum Rod Tube - The H3 comes with a white rod tube that sports catchy black Orvis lettering. This Helios-specific tube protects the H3F on the water and during travel and storage.
Warranty
The Orvis 25-Year Guarantee - As of 5/8/2019, Orvis rods fall under the one-of-a-kind Orvis Guarantee. If broken within a quarter-century of purchase, Orvis vows to fix your rod. If they cannot fix the rod, Orvis will replace it regardless of circumstance. Normal wear and tear, accidental breakage, misuse and mistreatment along with anything else resulting in a broken rod are all covered in the Orvis 25-Year Guarantee. No questions asked. If Orvis cannot fix your broken rod and the rod has been discontinued, they will replace it with a current rod-model of equal value.
