Another one of Charlie Craven’s famous midges, his Jujubee Midge Flash Fly takes inspiration from the classic Jujubee Midge and adds a flashy and attractive element. Made with the same segmented body of SuperHair, the Jujubee Midge Flash Fly has a realistic appearance that’s also quite durable, and where it differs from the Jujubee is in its thorax of wound flash. While this addition works to attract fish and stand out in the water, it also does a fine job at imitating the air bubble found in the thorax of most emerging insects.

The Jujubee Midge Flash Fly gives versatility in the world of midging and can be fished in a variety of colors as a great larval imitation or can be greased and fished as an emerging midge whenever a hatch is going on. Fished in small sizes to match the midges in your water, the Jujubee Midge Flash Fly can be fished all year long and should be in your box whether you’re crossing your fingers for a February midge hatch or exploring a still pond in the middle of autumn.
